Antonino Soddu Pirellas, born in Fonni - Nuoro - Italy. He lives in Cagliari. Classical education, during his teen age and first youth, he studied xylography and pictorial techniques with Remo Branca. After, he studied Illustration in Cagliari (Istituto Europeo di Design) and Graffiti's in New York city. Interested in environment protection, he works as researcher in a regional research agency; he is involved in Land Art new movements.
In 2002 he made with alfalfa crop an enormous (in a field of 12 hectares) pavoncella – lapwing, a symbol of freedom from Sardinian Nuragic culture. It was temporary visible from satellites. In 2007 he made with natural colours and local plants of the biodiversity an enormous symbol overlooking the mountains of Gennargentu (Monte Spada). It was inspired by a collective symbol of shepherds to brand horses to avoid theft, and referred to the plants of biodiversity as well.
